In order to reduce the size of index files, the current version of the class does not index any characters other than letters and numbers, so you can't search for special characters.  If a word contains a non alpha-numeric character, it is treated as two adjacent words.  This means that a search for "criss cross" will locate instances of "criss-cross", "criss/cross", "criss*cross", etc.  We are considering a change that will allow the programmer to determine which characters are indexed.

Is there a way in foxweb to search for characters such as '*' or '/' or '?' which normally have some special meaning?

Thanks
