Although some of our customers have managed to run FoxWeb on 64-bit versions of windows, this is not a supported configuration. If you wish to try it anyway, make sure you are installing either FoxWeb 3.6, or 4.3. Versions prior to 3.5 had problems, similar to what you are describing, when being operated in Remote Desktop/Terminal Services.

Also, try the following:
Log in as administrator.
Disable the Run as a Service option.
Disable the Hide Windows option.
Try running FoxWeb.

If this doesn't help, try maximizing the now visible FoxWeb channels and look for any visible signs, such as error messages.

If it does work, then start reversing your changes above and let us know which one breaks your configuration.

I re-imaged the server every time I attempted to re-install a version.

Please provide us with more information:
  1. Operating system
  2. 32 or 64 bit?
  3. Web server software
  4. Is there anything in fwstart.log? Paste any error messages in your response.
Unless you have a specific reason to run FW 3, you might as well run FW 4. By the way, did you uninstall FW 4, before installing FW 3? You can upgrade to a newer version without uninstalling, but we have not done any testing on the opposite.

When I installed version 4 I get:

%1 is not a valid Win32 application

When I run:

http://localhost/show_cgi.fwx

I installed version 3, and I dont get any channels opening.

How many days do you think it will take to get http://localhost/show_cgi to run?

Thanks
Jeff
