Show_channels.fwx only works if it is immediately after the server name in the URL (for example: http://localhost/show_channels.fwx).  In this particular case, the PATH_INFO server variable is equal to "/Marketing4insurance/show_cgi.fwx", which indicates that you typed http://localhost/Marketing4insurance/fwadmin.fwx to call fwAdmin.  Try using http://localhost/fwadmin.fwx instead.

I tried using the Channel Status tab on my other development machine at home and it does not work on that machine also. Following is the show_cgi.fwx output on my home machine. Any ideas?

Is this a new installation of FoxWeb, or are you upgrading an older version?

Please try calling show_cgi.fwx and send the result to us, or post it in a reply to this message.  I'm particularly interested in the Server Variables section.

No, my server is not available over the internet. Marketing4insurance is a working web site that I am converting to Foxweb. It is a PHP/MySQL web site running on the apache web server on Windows XP. That web site is on a completely different computer.

I tried fwadmin.fwx Channel Status with both Firefox 2.0 and IE 6 and both give me the same error. My development website works fine using http://localhost/marketing4insurance/index.html and so forth.

I have a 5 Virtual Host License licensed to Marketing by Mail, Inc and 2 Development Licenses. This does not seem important since everything seems to work. But maybe this is a sign that something is not right.

Any ideas will be appreciated. Is Fwadmin.fwx a built-in script? What about Show_Channels.fwx?

Thanks,

John Sullivan

This is very strange.  Is your server accessible over the Internet?  Would it be possible for you to email us the fwadmin userid and password?  Please do not post any passwords in this public forum.

I can run fwadmin.fwx on my development system but when I click on the  "Channel Status" tab I get the following error:

There was an error during the interpretation of your request.

Message:
Script "show_channels.fwx" is invalid, non-existent, or has not been compiled

I cannot find a "Show_channels.fwx" script on my computer. Below is my system information. Can you tell me why I get this message?

John
