I have an application that I need to display an HTML form and retrieve data as usual.  However, I have a requirement that when a user enters information in a certain field I need to check a Foxpro table to see if the record exsists or not.  If the record exsists I need to populate some of the HTML form fields so the user does not have to enter this information.

I need to see if there is a way to do this without submitting the form.  This form has three different places where this need to be done.  I don't want to have to have the user click a submit button until the entire form is filled out.

I know I can do this by breaking this into several form, but this would be quite a bit of extra time required by my users.  They be submitting this form as many as 100 or more times in a session.

If any one has any suggestions, I would appreciate the help.  I don't know if I could use some type of javascript or not.

Thanks
Bill
